1841 (12 July) large entire being the Weekly Return by the Steward at Thirlstane Castle to the Earl of Lauderdale in Dunbar, bearing FA in pale blue cancelled by a double strike of black Maltese Cross, the reverse with fine strikes of Lauder and Dunbar boxed datestamps and and Edinburgh transit c.d.s.; light vertical filing crease but still fresh and a most interesting historical document
