1840 (28 May) large part local London wrapper to Eaton Square bearing QA in a deep shade, clear to very large margins and well tied by two strikes of deep scarlet-red Maltese Cross (contrary to regulations) with a neat strike of "T.P/Cornhill" in black alongside, the reverse with the despatch datestamp; small stain spot and some soiling along edges
