Great Britain1841-53 One Penny Red-BrownPlate 34: IA, good to very large margins all round and showing a portion of the adjoining stamp at top, tied by a good strike of the rare distinctive solid centre Maltese Cross of Ironbridge on wrapper (side flaps missing) addressed to Newington, double ring "ironbridge/mr 30/1844" datestamp on the front, on reverse a range of red London datestamps and manuscript "not known" endorsements by two different postmen; small part of flap missing from the reverse, fine and very rare.
