Great Britain1841-53 One Penny Red-Brown"Black" PlatesPlate 1b: HE, close to very large margins all round and showing a portion of the adjoining stamp at right, tied to entire letter, dated 7 June 1841, from London to Dudley by three strikes of the Maltese Cross in black (contrary to regulations), the adhesive creased and wrinkled on application, the entire with heavy vertical filing fold (splitting the surface in places) well clear of the stamp.
