Great Britain1840 Two Pence BluePlate 1EH, good to large margins all round and showing a trace of the adjoining stamp at right, used with 1841-53 1d. Plate 14 NH-NI horizontal pair, margins all round, tied by black Maltese Cross cancellations on large entire letter, dated 8 Oct. 1841, from Manchester to Blackburn; the 1d. pair slightly defective and rubbed along the top and the letter sheet has been cleaned, nevertheless very fine appearance and an extremely rare combination of issues.
