Great Britain1840 One Penny BlackPlate XISC, large margins all round and showing a portion of the adjoining stamp at lower-left, tied by a crisp black Maltese Cross cancellation on printed "glasgow, paisley, kilmarnock, and ayr railway" entire letter, dated 10 May 1841, addressed to Lyme Regis and forwarded to London; the entire a little soiled and with a tear at lower-left strengthened by archival tape; fine.
