Great Britain1840 One Penny BlackPlate VIKD, clear to large margins all round, tied by a dirty brownish yellow (shade) Maltese Cross cancellation on reduced letter sheet dated 18 Nov. 1840 from Anstruther to Dundee, with boxed Anstruther datestamp in the same colour on reverse. With Brandon Certificate (2010) stating "... is genuine. The letter sheet has been repaired and restored alongside the adhesive and the Maltese Cross partly painted in." Photo
