As the postage is now so cheap, I could not resist sending you one penny-worth ..... Have you seen any of these envelopes? I think they are the strangest looking things I ever saw, particularly after so much was said (before their appearance) of their beauty and elegance ...."; a trifle soiled but a fine early usage and containing telling comments on the Mulready.
