1840 One Penny BlackPlate IIUsedEE-HK in two blocks of fourteen from an original block of twenty-eight, in black, mixed margins, just cut into in places at top and quite heavily into the right side and each stamp neatly cancelled by an orange-red Maltese Cross; some creases as is to be expected from a block of this size. A magnificent and stunning show piece. The postmarks along the centre match, demonstrating that this block was a single unit when is saw postal use. B.P.A. Certificate 2001
