Postal HistoryA valuable collection in two Philatelic albums, the first volume with some Bishop marks from 1669, later covers with a good representation of Northamptonshire and surrounding counties with some attractive mileage marks, "missent to/northampton", free cover signed "Robert Peel", Bellshill intaglio bag seal on 1832 entire with "glasgow/Penny Post" and handstruck "2" (ex ´Maximus´), a good selection of Penny Post handstamps including Kenton, Uniform Penny Post covers, Euston Hotel, London Paid handstamp; the second volume with London Dockwra-types (3), letter signed by Admiral Lord Collingwood, missent and too late marks, straight-line handstamps including Higham Ferrings, fancy "paid/at/dungannon" and many others. The condition is generally good to fine, making a very attractive collection. (148 covers)
