(15) Estimate £ 100-120 An amlgamation of 6 major shipyards in New York including Morse Dry Dock and Repair Co. in 1929, to become the largest company of its kind in the world. Name changed to United Shipyards and purchased by the Bethlehem Shipbuilding Corporation in 1938. Finally closed in 1963.
