1920 Short Term Treasury Bills, a group of 6 certificates comprising 12 months bills, (4), 26-3-1920, 1 yuan and 10 yuan, 26-4-1920, 10 yuan and 26-5-1920, 10 yuan; 6 month bills (2), 26-12-1920, 50 yuan and 100 yuan, ornate borders, various colours, red ´chops´ in centre, generally very fine and scarce. (6) Estimate HK$ 6,000-8,000 Nothing appears to have been written about these short term certificates. They seem to have been issued in 1920 only, at a discount, and repayable within 12 months, later reduced to only 6 months. The descriptions of those listed in the Goudey catalogue are slightly incorrect in thatthey state the redemption date and not he issue date.
