A circular finely engraved medal with a triple-stepped edge, 50mm, silver (Hallmarks for London 1818 on decorated suspension), obverse featuring a mounted St. George slaying the dragon, ´Quo Fata Vocant´ inscribed above, ´V Foot´ below, reverse inscribed ´Presented to John Watson by Coln. Sir C. Pratt, K.C.B., and the Officers of the Regiment. A Token of Regard May 1818´, nearly extremely fine, with decorated silver ring suspension
