1853-D 5 Dollars. XF Details, Cleaned. The fields, while mark-free for the grade, have been lightly cleaned and show an attractive straw-gold color. As is typical, some general striking softness is encountered, but is not in the least problematic compared to the often times seen extreme weakness. For accuracy sake, several wispy pinscratches, while not easily visible, appear above the eagle´s head.
