1848-D 5 Dollars. XF. Variety 19-N. A late die date example of the D/D variety with no signs of repunching remaining. A prominent die crack is noted from the edge below the F in FIVE, through the eagle´s wing, and to rim directly to the left of the T in STATES. The surfaces remain attractive with even wear over the soft golden devices.
