The Clydesdale Bank Limited, £5 (2), Glasgow, both dated 12. 1. 1949, serial numbers AV 0002697, and BG 0002278, both blue and red on white, arms of city of Glasgow at upper centre, TCBL in ornate scrollwork at left, printed signatures of Campbell and Houston, reverse blue, city arms at centre, value either side [Douglas 16-6 (2); Pick 190 (2)], the first pressed, brown stains at lower left, otherwise fine, the second pressed, small chip out of right margin, otherwise very good to fine (2) Estimate £ 200-300
