Great Britain Postal History The following thirty-five lots comprise a recently discovered group of letters of complaint addressed to the Post Office. Unless otherwise specified they are the contents only 1840 (9 Apr.) from Major-General I.W. Taylor to Colonel William Maberley, complaining about the irregular delivery of newspaper to the gentlemen cadets of the Royal Military College near Bagshot, endorsed "These repeated failures must be very annoying to the parties, but the cause cannot be traced to the newspaper office."
