Great Britain Postal History 1821 (23 Jan.) entire letter to Salisbury with very fine "Salisbury/Penny Post" in black (crossed by light filing fold), mended spike hole, fine. From Admiral Sir William Parker (1781-1866), Admiral of the Fleet Estimate £ 50-60 Sir William Parkers titles included, Admiral of the Fleet, Lord of the Admiralty, Commander in China, where he was involved in capturing Amoy, Ningpo, Woosung and Shanghai, and bringing the war to a successful conclusion by capturing Chin-Kiang-Foo
