Cape of Good Hope 1861 "Woodblocks" 1d. carmine block of four with large margins on three sides and with shaved to good margins at left, wonderful fresh rich colour and neatly tied by two superb strikes of the triangular cancellation on piece showing fine 1861 "caledon" oval datestamp; outstanding quality and surely one of the finest used blocks of this rare stamp.
