Cape of Good Hope 1853 Issue on Deeply Blued Paper 1d. pale brick-red with clear to large margins, unused with part original gum, lovely colour; tiny corner crease and trace of an age mark in opposite lower corner, neither affecting the fine appearance of this rare stamp.
