No. 18 1890 (24 Oct.) 1d. orange card from Geelong to Melbourne cancelled with large "t.p.o/18" between bars (not recorded on cover by Purves) and with light "up train/m.g. 18" large c.d.s. alongside, 1896 1d. orange card from Melbourne to Stawell cancelled with superb "down train/m.g. 18" large octagon d.s., two part transit c.d.s. on reverse, and 1900 (30 Jan.) 1d. pink card to a stamp dealer in Beechworth and cancelled with fine "up train/m.g. 18" large c.d.s. (31.1); a fine trio Estimate £ 120-150 Note: This TPO line from Geelong to Colac was opened on 25 November 1876, and then as far as Warrambool in 1887. It was extended to Port Fairy on 4 February 1890. It was withdrawn in 1908
