Cyprus Great Britain Stamps Used In Cyprus Paphos, "981" 1/2d. rose-red Plate 15 vertical pair (severed) sharing an indistinct strike and affixed on 1879 (3 Nov.) large part envelope (opened-out) to the Head of Emlak Department, Nicosia, a good strike of the despatch c.d.s. below the adhesives, the reverse with Limassol (4.11), Larnaca (5.11) and Nicosia (6.11) c.d.s.; the upper stamp defective, having originally been folded over the edge of the envelope which has some faults, nevertheless a rare franking from this office.
