x British Post Offices Abroad Peru 1871 (14 Nov.) yellow envelope from Callao to U.S.A., bearing 1868 1d. yellow-green (uncancelled) in combination with G.B. 1870 6d. bright violet Plate 9 cancelled "C35" and U.S.A. 3c. blue-green (uncancelled, reduced, along with envelope, at right), showing sender´s datestamp in blue, Panama transit c.d.s. (30.11), San Francisco arrival c.d.s. (30.12) and 210" due handstamp. An interesting triple combination franking with the U.S. 3c. covering inland postage from New York but not U.S. packet postage from Panama. Philatelic Foundation Certificate (1979).
