x Victoria 1860 (24 Dec.) envelope registered from Ballarat to Hamburg, Germany, rated "8" and bearing 1859 perf. 12 1/- blue and 2/- dull bluish green (marginal) both cancelled with Barred Oval "5", showing "registered/ballarat" and "registered/geelong" (25.12) c.d.s., "registered/london" oval d.s. (12.2), and London "Crown/registered" h.s. over-cancelled with oval-framed "pd", Hamburg arrival d.s. (14.2) on reverse; a few fox marks in places though scarce and attractive.
