x India Portuguese India 1878 (6 May) envelope registered from Peshawar to Pangim and bearing, on reverse, India 1/2a. and 2a. pairs cancelled with "47" duplex, upon arrival apparently redirected and bearing 1877 50r. blue-green (marginal) with indistinct cancellation of bars tying the stamp over the original franking, showing registration cachet, Lahore d.s., part of another c.d.s. in red and Pangim oval d.s.; small part of face panel torn away though a rare and most attractive redirected franking.
