x India Portuguese India 1875 (c.) envelope (180x90mm.) from Pangim "via Brindisi" to London, bearing 1873-75 Die I 300r. deep purple cancelled "1" and in combination with India 1a. pair (one defective) cancelled "B-22" at Aden, 4a. in square of bars and additionally tied by Aden transit c.d.s., the reverse with part Pangim and London datestamps; the envelope with creasing, stains and large part of reverse torn away, nevertheless the 300r. very rare on cover.
