x India 1860 no watermark, 8p. purple, thirty-six examples including a marginal block of twenty-four, together with 1856-64 1/2a. pale blue (8), used together on fragment with each stamp cancelled "136" and showing Kangra 1862 c.d.s. applied between two of the stamps; a few minor imperfections though a remarkable multiple of the 8p. value.
