x India 1854 Issue Issued Stamps Covers To The United States 1855 (18 Apr. and 23 Oct.) entire letters ex the same correspondence from Saharanpur "via Bombay & Southampton" and addressed via Liverpool to Philadelphia, the first bearing 1a. Die I deep red (3, mainly with margins all round) each neatly cancelled with diamond of dots, the second with 2a. green cancelled solely with date in manuscript, both with oval-framed "india" alongside, despatch, Bombay, London and Liverpool c.d.s. on reverse; also 1858 (25 Dec.) entire letter from the same correspondence "via Bombay & Marseilles" bearing 1855 8a. carmine on blue glazed paper cancelled "210" in diamond of bars and with London Paid c.d.s. alongside; an attractive trio Estimate £ 300-400
