x India 1852 Scinde Dawk Issue 1/2a. white vertical pair with large margins all round and each with double-ring "star" cancellation which highlights the embossing in places; the lower stamp with thin at right and a couple of other trivial imperfections in no way affecting the fine appearance of this very rare pair which has impeccable provenance.
