x India Early Letters and Handstamps 1853 (6 Aug.) entire letter from Calcutta to Genoa, apparently underpaid and on arrival in Trieste showing "bollo/insufficiente" oval-framed h.s. in red with 1850 9k. blue (natural crease) cancelled and tied by "c.v. da trieste" h.s. , also showing manuscript "8", "a.2" h.s. in red and, on reverse, "18 set" d.s.; scarce and unusual.
