St. Helena The Boer War 1901 (Jan.?) envelope "via Mafeking" to Brakfontein and apparently returned to St. Helena some 14 months later, showing Returned Letter Office Johannesburg c.d.s. (12.4) and, on face, Pretoria c.d.s., bi-lingual Unclaimed boxed h.s., type 1 censor cachet initialled "FWA", "returened/letter" h.s. and oval-framed "post office/Crown/st. helena" h.s., 1902 (Jan.) envelope from Transvaal to a P.O.W. on board "Ship Armenia", showing St. Helena c.d.s. (23.5) and several times redirected within Bermuda, and 1902 (6 Mar.) envelope (opened-out) to Transvaal, bearing 1/2d. pair with cork cancellations and showing type 1 censor cachet initialled "FWA", "returned/letter" h.s. in violet, a variety of transit c.d.s. and pink censor tape with Heildelberg censor h.s.; faults in places though a most interesting trio Estimate £ 150-200
