St. Helena Postal History 1866 (24 Nov.) yellow envelope to Capt. Charles W. Parker, Master of the Whale Ship "Laconia" St. Helena, bearing United States 1861-62 10c., 30c. and 1862-66 5c. with cork cancellations, "new bedford/mass" datestamp alongside, red London Paid and blue oval "st. helena" (date unclear) handstamps, endorsed "Not called for/Ship supposed to have passed", the 5c. with some missing perfs., otherwise fine and an attractive three colour franking "whaling" envelope.
