St. Helena Postal History 1857 (14 July) entire to Amsterdam with red oval "st. helena /jy 14/1857" datestamp, a variety of rate marks, "u.s.pkt" handstamp, on reverse blue Plymouth, red London and Amsterdam transit and arrival datestamps, filing folds and some slight stains, fine. 1857 mail from St. Helena is rare with only three other letters recorded.
