1840 One Penny Black Plate Ia Covers 1840 (25 May) wrapper bearing HC in a greyish shade showing some signs of plate wear, good to enormous margins and tied by a light strike of reddish orange Maltese Cross on wrapper (side flap missing) to a coach maker in London with "No.10" handstamp in black alongside the adhesive; the reverse with a superb strike of "blandford/25 my 1840/py post" handstamp in reddish orange and London arrival (26.5).
