Miscellaneous Roman, comprising a Denarius of Vespasian, rev. ivdaea in ex., Judaea mourning at base of trophy (RIC 2), a Sestertius of the same emperor, rev. victoria avgvsti, s – c, Victory standing right, inscribing shield set on palm-tree to right of which is Judaea seated in mourning (RIC 221), together with a Republican Denarius of C. Memmius, another Denarius of Vespasian, Sestertii of Faustina Jnr. and Maximinus, Asses of Augustus, Claudius and Severina, a Syracusan bronze, and a Half Siliqua of Justinian I from Ravenna, diademed bust right, rev. cross on globe within wreath (Sear 318; MIB 80), fair to very fine, the Vespasian Sestertius about very fine (11) Estimate £ 200-300
