India 1/2a. blue postal stationery envelope, additionally franked 4a. green with bars cancellations and the 4a. also tied by manuscript "Kandahar 2.9.80", Cavan (6.10) arrival; fine. Sent the day after the successful march from Kabul to Kandahar by Lord Roberts and his troops which ended the siege of Kandahar on 1 Sept. 1880.
