Burma World War II Postal History The Chin Hills District 1942 (22 Oct.) re-used brown OHMS envelope (255x115mm.), originally from Falam to Tiddim and then registered from Tiddim to Shillong, bearing Postage 6p. bright blue strip of six and 1 1/2a. turquoise each with type-written "ohms" overprint and neatly cancelled with c.d.s., Falam handstamped registration label , transit c.d.s. (22.10) and triangular censor mark in violet alongside, arrival c.d.s. (9.11) on face. Rare with only six covers recorded from this office of which five have type-written stamps, and one of only two registered items. Photo Estimate £ 800-1,000
