Great Britain Postal History Ship Letters 1813 (11 Sept.) disinfected entire letter written on board the "Impérieuse" off the small island of Ponza addressed to Scotland, red double-oval "Ship Lre/(crown)/plymouth dock" (Robertson S2B), red London arrival, rated "1/3" in manuscript and black boxed "Addl 1/2"; faults through disinfection though an interesting letter regarding the attack on the Port of Ponza.
