Mauritius 1848-1965 mint and used collection; the mint include 1858-1862 (6d.) block of six and singles (4), 1878 (Jan.) surcharges to 2r.50, 1879-80 CC 2r.50, 1907 MCA 1r., 1921-26 1c. to 20c., 1921-34 Script to 10r., 1938-49 2c. to 10r. with some perfs and shades plus 3c. pair, one with sliced "s" at right, 1953-58 2c. to 10r. and 1965 2c. to 10r.; the used include 1848-59 early impression 1d. with good margins and lightly cancelled though with thin at top, intermediate impression 1d. with close to good margins but with small tear and worn impression 2d. (2), both sound, 1860-63 no wmk. 1d., 2d., 6d. slate and 9d. (2), 1863-72 CC values to 5/- and 1878 surcharges to 2r.50; also a range of Revenue stamps; condition a little mixed, particularly in the QV issues. Photo for selection Estimate £ 3,000-4,000
