x India 1865 Watermark Elephant´s Head Issue Covers 1870 (9 July) envelope registered to Bombay, bearing 1/2a. pale blue, variety imperforate with three good to large margins and showing trace of adjoining stamp at foot, used with perforated 1/2a. pale blue and 1866 4a. green Die I, twice neatly cancelled with Masulipatum "68" duplex, showing indistinct transit d.s. and arrival c.d.s. in red on face, despatch registered h.s. on reverse; the envelope with a few faults though a very rare usage of this variety on cover, nearly all of which are known used at this office.
