x India 1854 Issue Issued Stamps 4a. blue and pale red, First printing, Head Die I, Frame Die I, two large examples in combination with 1a. red Die I (close cut or touched), all neatly cancelled with diamond of 81 dots and affixed or tied (1a.) on 1854 (17 Nov.) entire letter from Allahabad via "Bombay & Southampton" to Thurso, Scotland, showing London Paid c.d.s. (6.1) on face and, on reverse, despatch d.s., framed "india/paid" h.s., c.d.s. (7.1) and boxed arrival d.s. (9.1).
