Foot), contact marks, nearly very fine (2) Estimate £ 380-420 721 Private Frederick Tasker, born Marlborough, Wiltshire, 1845; enlisted in the 26th Foot, March 1865; served with the Regiment in Abyssinia, March to May 1868; transferred to the Royal Fusiliers, July 1874; served with the Regiment in Afghanistan from February 1880, and present at the Siege and Battle of Kandahar, 1.9.1880; discharged May 1886, after 21 years and 15 days with the Colours.
