A group of approx. 55 medals and uniface trials and ´squeezes´, mostly in lead, and a large quantity of die-sinkers punches (many hundreds), from the workshop of the late Isaac Greenstein, die-sinker to the firm of John Pinches, the medals mostly prize medals, Royal Academy of Music, Hamstead Garden Suburb Horticultural Society, Inter Service Sport, Bengal Presidency Rifle Association, Royal Army Ordnance Corps Rifle Association, the lead medals including the Stanley Melville Medal, Sherborne School Prize Medal, The National Rose Society , and the uniface lead trials including The Mackeson Trophy, The Life Saving Association of South Africa, The James Smart Lecture, The Seal of the Rural District Council of South Westmorland, the steel punches in many sizes, all contained in a wooden tool box, the medals generally in extremely fine condition, an interesting (but very heavy) group of items from a die sinker´s workshop, offered with a copy of John Pinches Collectors Journal Summer 1974, which contains an article about Isaac Greenstein, the purchaser should make special arrangements for the collection of this lot (lot) Estimate £ 150-250
