Armah (early 7th century) AR, 1.11g, crowned and draped bust right, with gilding on crown, holding cross on sceptre with another behind the bust, crescent right of crown, Ge´ez legend ngs ´rmH "King Armah", rev. arch supported by two columns, Greek cross above, inlaid with gold, two smaller crosses on staves at sides, and inside the arch key-shaped design with circular part inlaid with gold, Ge´ez legend shl wslm "Mercy and peace" (AC 151; H 71), good very fine, slight edge crack Estimate £ 140-160
