Bermuda 1865-1903 Watermark Crown CC Die Proofs Colonial Head Die B, in black with large uncleared surround on glazed card (92x60mm.), inscribed "colonial b" in reverse on surround, dated "Oct. 6 1864", numbered "5817" and initialled "AWD"; some burnishing and four spots of glue on face; the proof is accompanied by a card sleeve with circular "window" in which the die was originally presented and marked "original colonial b".
