Turkey The City Post of Constantinople - The Otto Hornung Gold Medal Collection Third Period - Stamps with Overprint 1879 (7 Feb.) large envelope from Yenisehir (Lariss, Greece) to Istanbul via Volos, bearing a fantastic franking of 1868-76 perf. 5-11 1/2 2pi. red (4), 5pi. blue (block of 5), 1875 1pi. yellow single, blocks of eight (4x2) and ten (5x2) with double ring yenisehir 81 (Coles and Walker 2) cancellations, carried by postal rider to Volos, on reverse 1pi. yellow with blue type III Shehir overprint with oval "bachtche capussi" d.s., fine and surely one of the most spectacular frankings recorded.
