Turkey The City Post of Constantinople - The Otto Hornung Gold Medal Collection Third Period - Stamps with Overprint 1879 (7 Jan.) 20pa. postal stationery card from Pera to Calcutta with octagonal blue beyoglunda dörtyolagzi (Coles and Walker 52) cancellation, blue oval "pera" and double ring "constantinople/turquie" datestamps, boxed "piroscafi/postali/italiani", on reverse evidence of many attempts at delivery, boxed "d.l.o./calcutta" and returned via Suez (21.4); the card creased but interesting and rare.
