New Guinea "N.W./PACIFIC/ISLANDS" Overprints 1915 (4 Jan. - 15 Mar.) 1d. carmine, a complete forme of 30 from the lower left corner with full sheet margins at left and at foot, no monogram, folded along central vertical perforations, fresh and fine mint. A very rare multiple. S.G. 67b. Photo Estimate £ 1,500-1,800 Note: Only the initial supply of the KGV 1d. and Kangaroo 2 1/2d. were despatched to Rabaul with the selvedge attached. The margins from all other formes were removed in Melbourne.
