x Currency Board, a trial uniface £100, Jerusalem ND ( c.1938) green and pale orange, value in lilac guilloche at center, Mosque at left, value at center and each corner, (Dabbah page 318, this is the Dabbah plate note, Pick unrecorded) ink numeral´23´ top left, ink date 18.3.38, low right. According to Dabbah it is likely that these designs were submitted for a new series of notes but it was decided in 1939 that the idea of having two series in circulation with different designs was not advisable and the designs were not adopted.
