x Ship Letter Handstamps England Rochester 1812 (2 June) lengthy entire letter from Smyrna to London, slit and stained for disinfection, rated "2/6" (deleted) and "1/8", showing fair to fine strike of double oval "ship-letter/Crown/rochester" (Type S.2) with red arrival datestamp (31.7) on reverse; the entire with tear at top of face just clear of handstamp.
